Law via the Internet 2023
The Law via Internet Conferences are the official conferences of the Free Access to Law Movement (FALM), of which IGSG has been a member since 2016.
LVI 2023 conference will be held from November 6-8 in Vienna, Austria, organized by the Centre for Computers and Law, Faculty of Law, University of Vienna and the Austrian Legal Information Institute LII-Austria.
The main topic of LVI 2023 is: “Challenges and opportunities for free access to law, including those posed by generative AI/large language models”. During the two-day conference, speakers will discuss how scholars, researchers, legal practitioners, and information professionals use very large or complex data sets of public legal information to distill knowledge and develop public policy.
Ginevra Peruginelli, IGSG researcher and member of the secretariat of FALM, will participate at the FALM meeting the day prior to the public Conference and will present, during the Conference, a paper titled “Fostering Open Science: The Advocacy for Secondary Publishing Rights in European Scientific Publishing”.
